Surf Session Today

A strengthening WNW swell pushes in today, adding size and energy across the coast. Offshore winds and a midday tide swing line up for improving surf through the afternoon.

San Francisco (3-4'+, FAIR)-GOOD:

  • Light to moderate NE–NNE winds hold all day, keeping things offshore. Conditions look fair to good with surf rising through the afternoon as the new swell fills in.

Linda Mar (2-3'+, POOR-FAIR):

  • Light offshores in the morning turn NNE by afternoon. Conditions are poor to fair but trending up with the new WNW swell and favorable midday tide window.

Santa Cruz (2-3’+, FAIR):

  • Calm offshore flow early gives way to a slight southerly breeze later. Conditions are fair, starting small but improving as the new long-period WNW swell fills in by afternoon.
