Light winds and fading NW energy bring smaller surf today across the region. Morning tides run deep before dropping fast by midday, making late‑morning the cleanest window for most breaks.

San Francisco (3-4'+, FAIR)​​:​

• Light offshore flow shifts to a mild NW breeze this afternoon with mixed WNW and shorter‑period NW swell.

• Surf stays fair, improving slightly late morning before tides drain and conditions turn sloppy later.

Linda Mar (2-3', FAIR):

• Light wind holds through the day with a small blend of WNW and NW energy.

• Fair early with higher tides, but the dropping afternoon tide leaves the beach soft and inconsistent.

Santa Cruz (2-3’, POOR-FAIR):​

• Calm wind combines with fading WNW swell in the knee‑to‑waist range.

• Conditions are poor‑to‑fair overall, best mid‑morning before the low tide flattens most breaks later.
